About Vesterlyng Camping
Vesterlyng Camping is run by Torben Berner and Lone Tholstrup Thygesen.
Vi har vel en ret simpel filosofi: At vores gæster får slappet af og får det samvær med både familie og venner som alle har brug for og tager afsted med tanken om at besøge os nok engang.
Our hope is that we can help both children and adults recharge their batteries, get a good dose of fresh air, experience one of the most beautiful parts of Denmark, see some of the region’s highlights, and—last but not least—add a social dimension to their vacation or weekend getaway.
In most cases, it works out—and that’s what makes it fun for us to run a unique business like a campground.

Lavsæson & mellemsæson (se sæsondatoer under priser)
Søndag - Torsdag : 8.00 -12.00 og 14.00-17.00
Fredag - Lørdag : 8.00 -12.00 og 14.00-19.00
High season
Hver dag: 8.00 - 12.00 & 14.00-19.00 (20.00 i industriferieuger)
Poolen åbner hvert år omkring 1. juni og lukker omkring 1. september.
Ingen bilkørsel på pladsen i tidsrummet 22.00 - 7.00

We've become greener
We have now officially received sustainability certification from Greenstay Denmark. This means that we have committed to helping achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The Greenstay certification focuses specifically on these five goals:
- 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
- 7: Sustainable Energy
- 12: Responsible consumption and production
- 13: Climate Action
- 15: Life on Land
We’ve already taken some steps in the right direction, but every day we’re working to improve so that, together, we can take care of our resources and our planet.
