At Vesterlyng Camping, you can rent a wide selection of luxury cabins and RVs—in addition to our excellent RV sites and beautiful glamping tents. 

Of course, we also welcome guests arriving by caravan, motorhome, tent, or trailer tent. Both the caravans and cabins are well-equipped with everything you need for a great vacation, a weekday getaway, or a weekend trip. 

You can also enjoy a truly memorable outdoor experience in our shelters, where you can gaze at the starry sky and watch the sunset. If you’re planning a trip for a larger family or your club, we’re usually the perfect starting point on Zealand!

Sights and experiences in West Zealand

Vesterlyng Camping on Zealand is beautifully situated near the beach and offers wonderful nature experiences—right on the shores of Sejerø Bay near Havnsø in the southern part of Odsherred. 


This makes us an ideal starting point for fun, exciting, nature-filled, cultural, and child-friendly excursions along the bay and at the crossroads between Kalundborg and Odsherred. It’s the perfect place to get active in nature or simply unwind from a busy daily routine.


Vesterlyng Beach is frequently ranked as one of Denmark’s top three beaches and is just a 10-minute walk from the campground, or you can relax by our lovely pool—it’s just as popular!


We have the world’s most beautiful sunsets, framed by both Nekselø and Sejerø in the bay. At the same time, Vesterlyng Camping is just an hour’s drive from Copenhagen and is a popular destination for day trips.

Our cozy café at Vesterlyng Camping is open to everyone—including visitors from outside the campground. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere inside or on the terrace. We also host parties and meetings with custom menus.

  Enjoy fresh seafood at the harbor in Havnsø, with classics like fish and chips, stjerneskud, fish cakes, and smoked fish.

Here's what you can expect...

There’s always plenty going on at our campground on Zealand throughout the year, but some things never change.

Pool

During the summer, our heated pool—complete with a water slide and a climbing wall—is in full swing. The pool’s turquoise-blue water can easily rival what you’d find in more southern climes!

Activities for children and adults

Whether you're into mini-golf, bouncy castles, petting animals, bingo, or something else entirely, there's plenty to do at Vesterlyng Camping.

Updated kitchen facilities

If you're camping—or just feel like it—you're always welcome to use the campground's large communal kitchen.
Here you can cook on the stove or in the oven; just bring your ingredients and a good attitude.

Quality time

  Time passes more slowly when you're camping, and you can really feel it in the time you spend together. There's more time to read a book or take in the view.
