Vesterlyng Camping Rental Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT
Welcome to Vesterlyng Camping; we hope you have a pleasant stay. This notice has been prepared to clarify any questions our campers may have and will help ensure you get the most out of your stay here.

Upon submission of this lease agreement for the above-mentioned season and the tenant’s acceptance thereof, both parties enter into this lease agreement. Upon payment of rent or a security deposit, the tenant confirms the agreement and thereby declares that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions set forth below.

Requests to reserve the same space for the following year must be submitted to Vesterlyng no later than [month] 202X, after which the space will be offered to another party.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
If you have a site and wish to keep the same site for the following season, a deposit must be paid no later than upon departure. Exceptions to this may include changes to the site layout, new installations, or other circumstances. The deposit is kr. ,000 for a full-season site and kr. for a partial-season site; this amount will be deducted from the total season price. Installment 1 is due no later than January 15, and installment 2 must be paid no later than March 1, 2021, for seasonal and spring spots. For seasonal spot reservations made after January 15, installments are paid as agreed with the camp manager.

A late payment fee of kr. will be charged. In the event of non-payment or late payment, the campground reserves the right to rent the site to another party.

RENTAL OF A TRAILER TO A THIRD PARTY
Renters are welcome to list their vehicles for rent on www.camptravel.net. Please contact us at the front desk, where we can also assist you in creating a rental profile and connecting with other renters to share experiences.

REGISTRATION OF TRAILERS:
According to the campground regulations, all caravans parked on the campground’s sites must be identifiable. Parked caravans must either be registered in accordance with Danish or foreign traffic laws (i.e., a caravan must be legally capable of being towed by a vehicle and legally driven from one campground to another within its country of origin), or they must be registered with an ID number (the green ID plate). The ID plate with a valid annual sticker must either be placed on the rear of the caravan, where the license plate is normally located, or visibly in a window facing the road. ID plates and annual stickers can be purchased at the reception desk.

SEATING AND SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES
In accordance with the 3-meter rule in the fire safety regulations, caravans, tents, storage tents, etc., must be set up in such a way that they do not interfere with neighbors’ ability to set up their own equipment. There must therefore be a minimum of 1.5 meters to all property lines. If a caravan, tent, or other item is placed closer than 1.5 meters to a property line, it must be moved. If something is too close to a property line, or if the camp manager or fire authority is asked to ensure proper fire safety distances, the tent, caravan, etc., will be moved even without the owner being informed.
You are permitted to set up one trailer, one awning, and, if desired, one storage tent per campsite. Anything not placed within these areas must be removed each time you leave the campsite. Flagpoles, antennas, and similar items are not permitted anywhere other than when permanently attached to the trailer.

If a sunshade is used permanently, these requirements must also be met. Please note that the distance requirement also applies to storage tents. Solid floors must be covered by the tent. You may not build terraces, lay artificial turf, erect fencing, or similar structures. Campers must always comply with the campground regulations.

The tenant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the area around the trailer. Please keep the site clean and tidy.

If the space under the trailer is used for storage, skirts must be installed, as the contents must not be visible. Mow the grass and edges at reasonable intervals, approximately every two weeks. (Lawn mowers can be rented at the reception desk for kr. ) If this rule is not followed, the campground will take care of it and charge a fee of kr. per instance.
The use of Roundup or any other type of weed killer is prohibited. All pruning, mowing, and digging on the campground may only be carried out with the prior approval of the campground manager. A fee of at least kr. will be charged for restoration if digging or pruning is done on the site without the camp manager’s consent.

Caravans and awnings must be kept neat, clean, and free of algae. The area around the caravan must also be kept neat and tidy.
Any disputes with the camp manager or violation of one or more rules will be considered a breach of contract, and the tenant may be immediately evicted from the site. No refund of the rent will be provided if this rental agreement is breached. A fee may be charged for restoring the site, etc., in the event of a breach of contract.
PARKING AND DRIVING ON THE PREMISES

ONLY ONE CAR PER UNIT. IF THERE IS NO SPACE FOR THE CAR ON THE UNIT’S PROPERTY, PARKING MUST BE DONE IN THE PARKING AREAS AT THE ENTRANCE OR ALONG THE ROAD OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY.

It is not permitted to park your car in an unused parking space, as this causes significant inconvenience to the tourists we direct to what they expect to be an available spot.

REMEMBER: Exercise is good for you. Save driving for trips to restrooms, stores, and cafés (it’s good for the environment); instead, ride your bike or walk (it’s good for your health)

Driving within the lot must be limited to what is absolutely necessary and must always be done at a walking pace. MAX 15 MPH.

Vehicles may only be driven between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. out of consideration for fellow campers and to ensure quiet during the night. The gate is closed between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. In the event of a serious medical emergency or if an ambulance is needed on the premises, please contact the camp manager or staff at [FIRMA_TELEFON].
If we are contacted to open the gate between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM because you forgot to move your car, or due to unregistered guests or other reasons, the tenant will be charged a fee of kr. , unless the alarm was triggered.

RESIDENCE
The campground may be used on weekdays, weekends, and during vacations and holidays; however, you may not have a permanent residence at the campground—you must have another registered residence (official address).

GUESTS
Day visitors to seasonal campers must always check in at the reception desk upon arrival and pay kr. per guest, unless the seasonal camper has purchased a guest pass. Guests are entitled to use the campground’s facilities, with the exception of the pool area. Access to the pool can be purchased for kr. per guest.
Overnight guests who have not checked in at the front desk will be considered a breach of contract and will result in termination of the lease agreement.

All visitors to seasonal campers MUST park outside the campground in the visitor parking area.

LIVESTOCK
Dogs are very welcome, but must be kept on a short leash and walked outside the campsite. Do not leave your dog alone in the awning or camper—and please remember that a barking and/or roaming dog is a major nuisance to neighboring guests.

Remember that it is your responsibility to pick up after your dog.

ELECTRICITY METER
It is the tenant’s responsibility to check the meter regularly. If the meter malfunctions, the campground will estimate consumption. In the event of a malfunction, please contact the campground manager immediately so that the issue can be resolved. We recommend disconnecting the power cable from the electrical outlet every time the site is left unattended for more than 24 hours, to prevent fire hazards and/or short circuits. It is the tenant’s responsibility to check for power. The campground cannot be held liable for power outages.

OFF-SEASON
During the off-season, opening hours for the reception, shop, and café may be limited. In case of an urgent and unavoidable need, we are of course always available by calling the campground’s main number and/or the camp manager’s cell phone number, or by contacting us at our private residence.
[COMPANY_PHONE].
The shop and swimming pool will also have limited hours. Opening hours are always posted on the doors or can be obtained at the front desk or in the shop. There may also be reduced services. For example, inflatable play structures may be deflated, some restrooms may be closed, etc.

CLEANING
During the summer school break, cleaning will take place at specific times. Please respect this and use another building. During the rest of the season, there will be no scheduled cleaning times, so please use another service building.

The Campground's Availability of Sites
In the event of tree removal, changes to the layout of the campsite, new developments, or other circumstances, the campground reserves the right to offer campers an alternative site.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
The containers and waste bins provided may ONLY be used for regular kitchen waste.
Bottles and glass should be placed in the bottle recycling bin.
Newspapers and paper should be placed in the newspaper recycling bin.

Fold the cardboard and place it in the cardboard recycling bins.
OTHER WASTE AND BULKY ITEMS (grills, chairs, rugs, flooring, etc.) must be disposed of on your own.

RULES FOR THE POOL AREA
All visitors to this area do so at their own risk. Failure to comply with the rules posted at the turnstile will result in removal from the premises. The area is under video surveillance.

All guests using the pool must rinse off before entering, either in the pool area or in the nearby restroom facility.

TV AND LIVING ROOM
The TV room and lounge are available for use by registered campers and their guests. Please keep the area tidy after use.

PLAY AND BALL GAMES
The campground has both playgrounds and a sports field. Help your children or grandchildren find the areas where they are allowed to play and play ball. Ball games are not allowed between tents and RVs. The bouncy castle may not be used in rainy weather or if it is not fully inflated.

ANIMAL ENCLOSURE
The animals are fed every day at 10 a.m., and all children and adults are welcome to join in. We’ll meet at Vesterlyng Café.

WINTER STORAGE
Winter storage for caravans is available for a fee. You must notify the information desk and pay for winter storage before the end of the season. Winter storage runs from the end of the season until the start of the next season. Caravans in winter storage will be placed in the designated area.

ON DEPARTURE
The space must be vacated upon termination of the lease. The space must be left in the same condition as when it was first occupied, meaning all personal belongings must be removed. Any items left behind will be removed at the tenant’s expense, with a minimum kr.

You are always welcome to visit the campground during the winter months to check on caravans in winter storage or just to take a walk. Please park in the parking lot even if the gate is open. Always be aware of any work being done on the campground.

Please note that all buildings on the campground are smoke-free.
