About Vesterlyng Camping
Vesterlyng Camping is run by Torben Berner and Lone Tholstrup Thygesen.
We have a pretty simple philosophy: that our guests can relax with both family and friends, and that they’ll want to visit us again.
Our hope is that we can help both children and adults recharge their batteries, get a good dose of fresh air, experience one of the most beautiful parts of Denmark, and see some of the region’s highlights—and, not least, add a social dimension to their vacation or weekend getaway.
In most cases, it works out—and that’s what makes running a campground so much fun for us.

Low season & mid season (see season dates below

Sunday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–5:00 PM
Friday–Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–7:00 PM
High season
Every day: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (8:00 PM during industrial holiday weeks)
The pool opens around June 1st each year and closes around September 1st.
No cars on the premises between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
We have five bicycles available for rent—if you're interested, please contact us or book directly here:

We have become more environmentally friendly.
We have now officially received sustainability certification from Greenstay Denmark. This means that we have committed to helping achieve the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
These 5 goals in particular are the focus of the Greenstay certification:

We have already taken some steps in the right direction, but every day we strive to improve so that together we can take care of our resources and our planet.
